Bit off topic....sorry. What kind of license would a tourist need to rent a motorcycle from this merchant, or any other who rents them?
I think that's helpful.....An unexpired driver license (even without a motorcycle endorsement) from any jurisdiction on this planet, or any other planet in the known universe? Is that correct?
I have the motorcycle endorsement, but I seriously doubt the folks checked anything other than the fact I had a license. Moving into my 3 bedroom townhouse today. Lazada couldn't deliver the refrigerator this week and asked to deliver at the end of the month, so just canceled the order and bought locally. Tomorrow have a split inverter type A/C installed by Polaris Engineering (Daikin unit). Water pressure has been decent, but cellular signal is 1 bar / 3G downstairs with 4 bars / LTE outside. Townhouse next door is still available.
May have difficulty if from Country that drives on the left hand side like England, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand etc... Moderators note Can we try and stay on topic here please guys This is about house rentals, There is a thread on LTO and licences Cheers
I'm sure the LTO has a list of country licenses they recognize but the bike rental place most likely won't care if your license is from the US or Zimbabwe.....so long as you have one and have the money to pay for the rental. They will get a copy of your license just so they know who to file a case against if you wreck or steal the bike. They won't care if you are endorsed to drive a motorcycle or fly a fighter jet either. They really just want your money.
If you are a tourist and your stay in the PH is not beyond 90 days the license of your home country is good for it.
