    Hi!
We find this site very amazing, entertaining and informative. It amaze us especially those wonderful pictures posted were so great and so inviting to come back there as soon as we can. Some post are funny, and also this helps gives ideas to those who are first timer visiting the place or who are just about to visit. My husband, Carlos is so proud to tell our relatives and friends how nice to retire in Dumaguete and of course the beaches we crave a lot to be there again since we live in Colorado, all you can see is mountain which i admit is also beautiful but we miss those tropical breeze. Well, he is successful to encourage one of his cousin to visit there, me and my son(Bill) will be arriving on June 1st and Carlos and cousin arrive on July 1st. We plan to be back here in U.S. by Aug. 15 and work for 9 months more then finally retire there in Dumaguete.
Well, anyone likes to join on going to Boracay and Bohol with us on anytime July so we can be in group which we find it more fun. Hopefully, my cousin in Guam can be able to fix her schedule because she and her husband are so excited to do it with us.
We are praying, God will allow us to go along with all our plan because this time of year is rainy season. But I live there for almost all my life so i know there is also mothers nature break.
    See you there...i cant wait!

    Judy

Had been to boracay few times and had great time apart from the last time we had in 2004 ,had a week there (the last few days of the month July to August). We came to the island raining, and it kept pouring cats and dogs all the time, not one clear bright day of the week for us ,all the days were wet, wet ,wet, plus so windy /stormy .The sea was continually choppy surrounding the white beach . The other side of boracay was recommended for swimming and snorkeling ,but it's not as beautiful as the long stretch of the white beach .Though it was not always the case during that time of the year said a local ,but our time there were just so unlucky. It even flooded once to knee-high on our way out for a meal ,and we have to wade through the murky flood water mixed up with leaking drainage everywhere ,makes one cringe ,it was horrendous experience. Residents of Boracay even added ,it was extremely unusual weather for the island. The following week when we got back to negros , the weather picked up with sun shining through ,what a shame we didn’t time it right . Previous occasions we there were during months of june ,may and april ,the weather was absolutely fab ! Can't always win when the freak weather decides to follow us all the way .

WELCOME JUDELYN. It's a good idea to go to Boracay in a group but unfortunately we will be in Dumaguete on the first week of May, we will be flying back to PI this coming Friday. Cebu, Boracay are the top of our list to visit on our one month stay. I've got 3 more working days to go and am off. Can't wait....And also getting familiar more of Dumaguete as this will be our HOME soon.
