    :smile: Hello Out there. For the last four years my wife and I have been living in Davao City. We are missionaries and have had the priviledge of starting the Lighthouse Baptist Church. We are at the point of starting a new mission and I have been considering moving my family to Dumaguete.

    The comfort of my wife is important to me. So I will be in Dumaguete in a couple of weeks to have a look around. Before arriving I do have some questions that would really help me on this survey trip.

    1. 1. The last time I visited Dumaguete I stayed at the Bethel. I really like the hotel but the bed was like a rock. Any suggestions out there?

      2. I am curious to know on average how many brownouts there are each month and how long do they last? - Water outages also.

      3. Is it true that Robinson's is putting in a new mall?

      4. Is there a place to by packaged meat. Chiken, pork, beef.....

      5. Are there any gyms with good cardio equipment and does the University have a running track?

    6. I am a diver. Were can I rent tanks and get a boat without having to pay the tourist prices?

    Any input would be a great help. Thank you, Thank you very much!

    Hi Pastor Dave;
    It's nice for you to consider a new ministry in Dumaguete, their is only few baptist church in that area. We belong to a baptist church in Canada and when we went back to dumaguete last year we were looking for a church where we could attend and support.My wish is someday we will see a baptist church in balugo around 20 minutes travel from the city.
