I will be arriving in a couple weeks, and want to get phone service for the kids to have internet connection, can anyone tell what i have to do to get this done , how long does it take? are there deposits etc? what is monthly charges and install fees? Thanx hope to see every one when we arrive
Hello, our phone service is being provided by Globe Telecom, although there is another provider in the city. Monthly charge is around P400 for residential, this already includes free NDD calls to Globe-Globe landline subscribers nationwide. You could also add a 384 KBps internet connection (selected areas) to your phone for a total monthly bill of P998. Although you can subscribe to a higher bandwidth. I think installation fee is waive (not sure), you just need to make some advance payment of 1 month. they also require some proof of billing during your application.
