Cool. I was a hippie (still am) back in the '60s. We never said "groovy." That was the teenyboppers!

    60's and 70's

I sort of remember the 60's and 70's. It was a colorful time in my neck of the woods in northen Maine. We were far removed from the large demonstrations but able to keep abreast of it all with good ol Walter Chronkite. If nothing else, the best music came out of that era. My 19 year old son even agrees onthat (miraculous that a teen agrees with a parent on anything).

Good ol' Walter. That was back when the news was news.
There was a renaissance of music and creativity then.
Maybe I should post some pics of my bus. If you know anything about the sixties, you know that Ken Kesey had a famous bus named "Further." It was at the Texas Pop Festival, in 1969, two weeks after Woodstock. That's the festival I'm writing a book about and have a website about. My bus is named "Furthermore." I converted mine into an RV with refrigerator, stove, shower, toilet, AC, TV, stereo, the works. I'm still working on the paint job on the outside.

Okay. I posted pictures of my bus in the thread called Furthermore. The people in the bus are co-workers (and me). Unfortunately, my wife didn't get in these pics. The ceiling and bathroom have been painted since the pics were taken.
