Good thing I'd gone outside and taken P2000 out of the ATM while we were waiting for NWA to open up. It just gets worse each time I come back to Dgte. Boring, boring, boring. Remember, I lived in Dgte 1yr and 11mos from 2001-2003, then 12 wks in 2004. Plenty long enough to wear the place out. I think next time we'll rent a beachfront villa somewhere in PI for the duration and get more into scuba and snorkeling etc. Which with any luck (?) will be 5 months instead of just 7 weeks. The home SPI occupies in SacSac Bacong was caretake'd by my wife's aunt for 5 yrs. She worked for the family for something like 60yrs..Same family owns the golf course north of town... I was in and out of there many times during the period 2001-2004. I accidentally met the owner of that Bacong home's only brother in law at the Sports Bar behind Honeycomb just before we left last week. He said SPI is paying over P230T a month rent for the place ! Well you guys enjoy yourselves. I for one am SO glad to be back in the USofA. My wife as well... I can almost smell the rubber burn..
ViperACR, We flew back in England 1st of June and our terminal fee cost each 550PhP. Our trip originated in Cebu International Airport, so maybe NAIA charges more. And glad to hear you and your wife are happy now that you're back in America.
