Hi all, My name is Cooper I am in the Middle of the Picture and my G/F is to the Left (The Black One) Now I gave Mum and Dad a problem, How, I am not sure due to her height (Me being small) but I got her Pregnant. That's OK they were Cool BUT she only had 1 (one) Pup as I must have fallen off while at it. She is so very protective of this single lad ( Shawn "M" [My G/F's Breeder] has been up & his wife said a Boy) But to complicate matters she has taken the Puppy in to the garage Area and is now Under the car and wont come out. As it is a holiday tomorrow Fri 30th They wanted to go out, Any Suggestions on How They get them from under the car? otherwise I am DEAD Whilst Funny Guys and Gals this is a True Story (Jack here) Help! Anyone, She is laying just by the Real Wheel so I am Frightened to move the Car
Jack, I'd just pick the pup up, Midnight will follow out and then move the car out; she seems to like that area and will settle back in once the car has been moved. I know you are concerned Midnight may freak out a bit, but Cherry was able to sit next to Midnight the other day and hold the pup (and was 5 months or so since we were around your dogs) and he was just hours old at that point. I would not worry about handling the pup. I know we have handled all the pups we've had with no issues from the mom (we kept the other dogs and our son away for the first few days). Cherry needs to go to Dumaguete (I have BBQ duties) tomorrow so she can stop by and make it an easier process if you would like. Shawn
Shawn, That would be fantastic, just get Cherry to ring Azon and we will Bring her back to you, Cherry that is (As long as we are successful ) Wow how great can all this be, What a forum should be about. We are thinking of giving her her own room Indoors so we don't need to do all this again when we want the car out.
Will do Jack. I agree it would probably be less stressful on Midnight for the first couple of weeks to have a place indoors away from the other dogs. Puppies don't really pee or poo for those first couple of weeks as the mom "stimulates" that by licking the pups and cleaning it up herself. She will let you know when she needs to go outside to take care of business and stretch her legs. There may be a bit mom does not get but there is really not much, especially with only one pup. An old blanket or a couple towels should be all she needs to be comfortable in the house. Shawn
OK Folks all is well Mum and Pup are safe in the Spare Room and I am keeping a low Profile on the terrace Steps. They can go out now Phew and I live another day Thank you all for reading and a Big Thank you to Shawn and Cherry.
