Anyone have any first-hand, recent information on Camp Look Out in Valencia? I stumbled on this place (or, at least the forbidding gates) one day while getting lost on my scooter. It is literally the end of the road. Evidently Silliman University has a writers' retreat on part of Camp Look Out, and their signs are not welcoming, either.

But some internet searching makes it seem like it is possible to still go there for the views. I gather that Camp Look Out had public access previously but is now privately owned.

Anyone have good information on this place?

It is privately owned and not much to see inside as its very overgrown there. But sometimes the gates are closed but not locked and the locals often simply walk round them. Been up there several times with my dogs.

I'm getting some info that what is behind the gates was never part of Camp Look Out, and the entire camp itself is owned by Silliman (which also has "No Trespassing" signs posted.)
