    Beware of the tuko

If we are talking about the lizard of 20 cm long ur all chicken hahahaha.

Its not poisonues !!!! It just eats insects and the smaller ticki

I had one bitten me as a challenge in the webbed skin in between my left thumb and pointing finger. Believe me ur wives bite harder

If u get bitten by one its true it bites and holds on and it feels strange but it doesnt hurt like hell ya just feel like someone is pinching u.

Just dont shake it just let it hang where u want it like the garden it will let go after a minute because they get tired.

Its true if ur not used to reptiles u probably become nervous but they hardly even penetrate the skin hahahahahah.

If u want to catch one take 1 stick out of the filipino broom catch that long insect (2cm) en stick the point up his grrmmpppppffff @ss.

Imitate like its crawling on the wall and move lower en lower.

It just cant resist. If you turn like wool string arounf the tip and it bites it it wil get stuck with its teethand u just grab it pull the string out and bring it outside

    talawit ikaw :D In englisch ... bloody cowards lol :D :D :D

I think you're referring to the common gecko, we're talking about the maneaters,

the dreaded and notorious Tuko gecko.

Yes i saw that one lol hardly a maneater ????

Its harmless it will only pich ur skin. Its not a monitor lizard.

The general word is tuko for the big ones the smaller ones are refered to as tiki.

    Both harmless

When I was little, I was prompted to observe how t'kos and t'kis have a strange habit of "kissing the ground" at dusk. Since it coincided with the Catholic "oracion" (6 o'clock PM prayer), folks equated this with piety, and often express respect for these creatures.

Another lore about them is that they are said to have forgotten their name when they decide to fall on you. The startled person would usually exclaim the t'ki's/t'ko's name in surprise upon which the critter will have heard their name and remember it once again.

I actually had one of these guys drop from the rafters and land on my person, and I doubt that I was of any help in reminding him of his name...

    Unless it was

"Ahhhhhhhh!! Get this thing off me!!?!"
