⌛ retirement time

I will be retiring soon at the ripe old age of 48 to the Philippines and Dumaguete was an area recommended that I look into. As an educator, the area interests me because of the school atmosphere and I love the water as well.
I was at Clark AB in 78-79 and have dreamed of coming back.
A few questions: are rentals widely available in the 10,000-20,000 PH per month vicinity?
I would like something near or on the water, 2-3 bedrooms, decent, safe living space.
I'm planning a trip later this year for three weeks so I can get a firsthand look at the area, meet realtors, etc.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

 

If u rent inbetween that amount u have a decent house / Near the water well not next too but in the vicinity. But ur 48 so a walk will do u good
