    It continues...

    We called the electric company, they told us they know where the problem is, but it has now taken them over a month to fix it... They might not even fix it at all it seems...

    It is kind of weird that they let this slide for so long, there must be local politicians affected as well who could step in and demand things done?

    I hope this gets better, cause running 4-6 brownouts a day and an average of 200 volts on the 220 lines will destroy our equipment...

    Oh and to add to the insult... Our electric bill this month arrived in the middle of a 20 hour brownout and it was the second highest bill we had since we moved here... Go figure...

    Sorry to hear about that Mr. Dane. We're having lots of brownouts in Dumaguete as well. :(

    Regarding your Brown out Problem, please check this website: Ballard Power Systems - Home for possible standby generator made from fuel cell.It's still on research/expiremental stage but something to look forward.

    hi gene, these are gloryfied batteries, normal deep cycled batteries would work just as well, you still need an inverter for both to work.

    I've got a Honda generator that I bought new a couple of years ago and I never use. If somebodys interested in saving a few pesos over the cost of a new one, let me know.
