for sure you need a good driver and propper shoes... you can make it in one day, even I can't recommend it. Take your time have a nice BBQ and enjoy the time. or you make a 8- ATV tour which is really big fun, and you cover places where 'normal' tourguides don't go

    cheers again

Casaroro, Forest Camp, and Tejero are all in the town of Valencia, though not necessarily in that order. The nearest to the town proper are the Tejero pools (there's 2 now), and just about a hundred paces ahead, you'll find the entrance to Forest Camp.

Casaroro, however, is yet a good 6 or 8 Kilometers up the mountain, and though they've began paving the road, it's not yet completed and it'll only get harder as you get closer to the falls. If it's rained recently, the last few Kms will be virtually impossible to drive on because of the slippery grass. Powering a motorcycle on foot up the road will work, but you've got to consider the almost certain possibility of losing it on the ride downhill.

    From OK pension....

You'd want to get up and leave fairly early. Ask one of the tricycle drivers to take you to the Valencia jeepney stop. Get in that jeepney and ride it to Valencia, ask to be let off at the hable-hable tree.

Get a hable-hable motorcycle driver to take you to Terjero pool. Don't be scared, the hable-hable boys are pretty good drivers.

When you get to Tejero, you can either arrange for the hable-hable to take you the rest of the way up that same road to Casaroro, or if you ask right there at "Adventure Tours" you can rent a quad runner 4x4 for a nominal fee and drive that up to Casaroro. They'll help you out at "Adventure".

Forrest Camp is just a 5 minute walk from Tejero pools.
Its a lot quieter than Tejero, no drinking allowed there.

Bring good shoes, water and a pair of swim trunks if you plan on doing Casaroro, it's a real paradise, but a good workout hiking up and down the stairs to the waterfall. I think its about 300 steps.

Taking an ATV up to the trail head is a great idea. Offroad trucks are just too big for the road, leaving very little margin for slip correction. I didn't know about this Adventure Tours. Must have been a recent addition since I was there last about 4 years ago.

Honda Wave 100 Ride to Casaroro Falls

Hi All , I rented a Honda Wave 100 near Steds on Perdices , actually I rented it for 2 weeks . Drove it up to the falls ( easy ) rode it up to the Japanese Shrine ( not for the faint of heart ... or too smart  that was a good day . There are a lot of steps to get to the fall , but it is an experience . They make a Wave 125 that would be better . I plan to get a XR 200 and go exploring . A Wave can get you there ( I did my trip in Nov , so dry season ) and I`ve seen 5 Filipinos on one ( with a 50 kilo bag of rice ) . More power !!! Kevin
