Hello everyone, I'm a Bacolodnon who's a staunch admirer of Dumaguete. I've been there a few times already, and I have nothing but praises for the great sights and great experiences that Dumaguete has to offer. On our last trip, I stumbled upon another Dumaguete gem -- the rattan or wicker furniture makers of Dumaguete. I wasn't able to explore thoroughly because of time constraints. Anyway, any comments on which rattan furniture makers offer the best quality for the best value in Dumaguete? I'm hoping I can visit again soon!

 

hello, i wud suugest that you should consider furnitures from Rustic in Talay. My friend owns the place. Might want to have a look-see to compare them with rattan types. Their really cool. If u might be interested probably I cud ask him for a discount.. who knows..hehe Good day!

 

If they're still there, you could also try Gonzales Furniture Shop on the Southwest corner of Perdices and Pinili Streets. It's 1 block south of the public market along Perdices St.

Another one is Espinosa Furniture Shop. They used to be on Sta. Rosa St., west of Perdices.
