Silliman

I have been sending emails to Silliman via their website. No replies. I need to find a school with american kids in it, age 13. My son is 13 . So I want him to have friends his age. I have heard Silliman is an excellent school. What do you know about it? What is the best school in Dumaguete? We are Americans, do the kids treat American kids well in Duma? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

 

As far as I'm concerned Silliman U is the best of all schools in Dumaguete. I'm pretty sure there are American (or other nationalities ) kids in your kid's age. As you know, Silliman University has enrolled hundreds of students from all over the glove almost every year (I'm talking about foriegners only). Keep forwarding your email until you get a response. Don't give up. Once I emailed them for something, I did not get a response until my third email. Good luck.

Try Montessori International. They have 2 schools here, one in Dgte and one in Valencia.
Good schools for expat kids.

 

Do they have a website or someplace where I can get some information? I really want my son to have some american classmates.. Or at least westerner class mates... so he does not feel so out of place.

 

You'd want to check out SIMON in Valencia.

 

OK, do they have a website or how do i get infor on that school? Why do you think that school is better than Silliman for my son...
