What you are saying and what you quoted from me is saying the same thing, we are just using different words to convey that fact. No one on this forum, and I mean no one that I've seen thus far wants wanton distruction of any area in any of the Islands Sirenna. You do agree that there should be a balance to construction progress and the environment though, right? As far as me personally taking offence at anything you've said, I don't. The only time I would take offence from a person on this forum is if or when they discuss things in a racist, or predjudice way. At that point, that persons' future posts always leaves a bad taste because of the type of person they really are. Which is precisely why I like this type of conversation, your not attacking a group of people just because they want to live in the Philippines just like you. Your right in that many countries have protected areas/national parks, and if I'm not mistaken, the Philippines also have protected areas, but I hope someone with better smarts than me can touch on that area. I still believe balance is the key for successfully moving the Philippines ahead. I'm not worried that the Philippines is going to turn into a big waste land. If anyone knows or has live in Hawaii they can probably tell you that historically, there was a concern for that, and here we are in 2007 and their economy is strong, and their is no waste land. There is a balance with an eye toward the future Sirenna.

I'm pretty sure I won't be going to you for a fish...lol. Not because you'd have any, more because I don't associate with bigots and racists. As far as being arrogant, if that's what you see in my posts, then I can live with that, because I don't really care how you see me. I'm kinda like that with your type of people. If, at some future point, you change and stop your rhetoric against whole groups of people and make worthwhile constructive points, then I'd stand right beside you, but until then, I'll continue to view you in the same light. So, what would it take for you to stop your discrimination?

Yes of course there should be a balance as of course I am not against tourism. But recently, every time I find myself saying "Ugh! Who built that ugly thing?" the answer is "Koreans", (and also Chinese and Filipino developers). And of course bad island management is at fault here too, with apathtic local authorities who enforce the rules and ordinances either selectively or not at all.
