⌛ hello all,

Hi everyone, just thought i'd drop a note. Havent been online for a while no internet but i have it now and will keep in touch. For anyone who's moving to dumaguete here's my experience in a nutshell.

Came to dumaguete for first time on may 12th and stayed in bethel and check inn. both places were nice with great people working in them. i looked for a apartment (1 or 2 bedrooms) but had a very hard time finding one after about 4 weeks gave up and went to cebu where i found a nice place rather quickly.

So im in cebu for now only a 6 month lease, everyone in dumaguete wanted a 1 year lease which i didnt want to sign.

I miss dumaguete, and the smaller towns in negros but may end up there later.

So just a note to anyone wanting to rent in dumaguete, find someone who speaks good english and hire them to take you around for a few weeks. so many small streets to check out for rent signs. WHY NOT was a help but so many people have places to rent but seem to keep it a secret. Kind of the way it is here.

I know im not much help and was told it would take a month to find a place but didnt realize how much work it would be. one good thing i know the city pretty good.

I hope you'll have better luck when you get a bit closer to the 6 month mark and able tofind what you want for the price you want.
