    Hey everyone! I just signed up today. I visited Dumaguete 2 weeks ago from the US. It was my third time visiting but it was my first time I was actually old enough to enjoy this wonderful place. Even an earthquake couldn't ruin my vacation! And lake Balanan was so nice!

    Sounds like you were vacationing the same time that we were. Just curious if you are from Northern California. We also visited Lake Balanan (had a great time), and at that time, my friend ran into his old classmate who was visiting from San Jose Ca. Just wondering if that was you, or a member of your family.:cool:

    That wasn't my family. I'm from Virginia, near Washington, D.C. That lake was so nice. It's like a hidden treasure. Driving up that mountain was an adventure in itself.

    Where in Virginia? I'm familiar with that area, as I grew up in Fairfax, Va, still have family there.

    Hi everyone, My name is Dan and just found this site a few days ago and love all the wonderful pictures, never been to dumaguete but to cebu twice, under my avatar is my home where i would like to live, that is me simple. hehe, just my size, maybe oneday anyways good day to all, Mr Dan :smile:

    maybe just needs to be a little bigger than this, but not to much, less cleaning and maintance, had all the houses and stuff just do not want anymore,:wink:
