    hmmm.... good question.
.... but sad to say, in 2.5 years I had one steak here where I would say : WOW that's it.
Sad enough it was on my bosses 50th birthday and he imported it for a lot of money from wherever...
so I am also happy for good advices.

    cheers

    Rhoody

Best Beef in my opinion is imported from New Zealand and Ireland.
Can't get good steaks in RP, best sticking to Fish,Pork,Chicken etc.
Forget about Wine, best Wine is from France, even oz wines not to bad.

    Why Not steak

    Yabs
I would agree with you as for 300 peso the why not tenderloin is probably the best deal lately. A friend of mine had one on Friday, My wife had one yesterday. Both of their was horrible like shoe leather. Today I had one and it was just okay but a far cry from the usual quality. It appears why not is suffering from the summer duldrums and is dead as a Philippine dynamited reef.

Maybe Dumaguete should think about having Tony Roma's open up a branch there. Yum yum! Or better yet Outback Steakhouse would be PERFECT! Best ribeye steaks in the world (in my opinion).

Dumaguete should have a branch of David's Steakhouse. Best Steaks and Lamb Chops I've ever tried. As of now though, I'd have to say Le Chalet's Steaks are currently the best that you can get in Dumaguete.

I'm guessing the Philippines are not partial to beef products? Not a bad thing I suppose because it isn't good for you, but I like a good steak every once in awhile too. So, I hope I'll be able to find a good steak every now and then. Does the wet market provide any good steaks and otherr beef products, out of curiousity?
