Your awesome pics P-newt bring me back when we did the dolphin watching last May. And from then on, discovering Dumaguete and the neighboring towns and cities, retiring in this place called The Gentle People is the perfect decision for us.
My mom has just been hospitalised in Holy Child Hospital coz the doctor in Dipolog City misdiagnosed her illness. My sister decided straight away to go to Dumaguete for second opinion and further treatment and thanks God, they've saved my mom's life. What I am saying that, the place has good hospitals not only that, schools are prestigious as well and it's close to Bohol, Cebu, Dipolog. For us, it's so convenient and PERFECT CHOICE to spend quality life in the future.
Thanks for sharing these fab pics and the kids seemed to have lots of fun.

Hi crissar , that was like a pot luck excellent weather that day which made a difference for every shot, and that was a good experience with dolphin watching too , might do it again next time , can't get enough of it.:D I hope your mum is feeling well now.Holy Child is another good hospital in Dumaguete.I had my eldest daughter born there at HC hospital ,my obstetrician was very good the care was excellent ,and 3 weeks later head off to cold england, that was long story though. But that's great to know your family liked Dumaguete , I wish you all the best when you move there soon.

Sorry to hear about your mother Chrissar but glad that she was finally taken care of properly. I will be honest. I went to Holy Child years ago and was not at all impressed with their service. This last time I went all the way to Cebu for any doctor appts and had great service. I honestly have given up completely on finding ANY good hospitals in Dgte at that point due to taking several children to them (misdiagnosis) and being overcharged on top of many different unnecessary tests/labs requested. Cebu Hospital was quick/efficient and only asked tests for what I really needed. I was very impressed with them.

Thanks for giving me some hope about Holy Child. Maybe I was too quick to judge and maybe it was the fault of the Dr on shift. I may give it another try the next time. It would be much easier than traveling to Cebu!

The hospital bill including the Doctor's fee plus lab tests and meds wasn't really bad at all. Taking to considerations that my sister asked for additional bed in a private room for 12 days cost 20,000 PhP plus. We're just so glad, my mom is recovering and feeling better now. She's 87 years old and a survivor.

You should give them a try next time and thank you Cyndi.
