In case anyone is interested in using the Maayo Shipping RORO ferries to Cebu Island, this is the schedule they handed me today, June 22, 2018. Hopefully it will stay current for a while. I know I can come back here and consult it again for decades, as nothing ever goes away on the internet. But at least there is contact information included, FWIW.
Doesn't look like the Tampi-Bato times have changed for a very long time. The times are not really important at the Maayo port (I suspect it is the same for Sibulan). Just show up anytime between 4am and 10pm and you should get on a boat within an hour. Curious why the "30 minutes" is in quotes. In my head I imagine someone saying that with big ol' finger air quotes and a wink.
Ironic as I think it should say: "Don't quote us on that". The barge only takes 30 minutes to cross the strait. But if you add in the time to back up and turn around and the time to lower the drawbridge and unload then it is closer to 40 minutes. Their competition, the "fastcrap" can do the crossing in 20 minutes on a good day but you can't bring your vehicle on the fast craft.
