⌛ Photographs

Hi, I am rather new in this group and i would like to know how to post photograps. Thanks for your support.

There is a sticky that explains in perfect detail. Mostly the tricky bit is getting you file into the proper size and format. Once that is done it is pretty simple. Go to the photo catagory of the forums and read the sticky and it will explain all

 

If you have Microsoft office, then you probably have the picture Manager. Just open your .jpg with the progam, If tou just want to resize it, click on "edit picture"
on the right you click "compress picture" and then "for webpages" and "ok"
Make sure you safe it with another name, if not you will loose the original.
If its a .jpeg and smaller then 100 kb its easy to upload it under the advanced section of your post (manage attachments), before you submit.

Hi, I sure appreciate your fast reply. I enjoyed looking at your homepage and the great photos you've displayed. Black and white pictures reminded me of the time when I had my first SLR camera, a Asahi Pentax and developed and printed the photos myself.

der fairnisshalber der rest wieder english...
.... you mean uploaded or downloaded... you are able to upload ip to 5 pictures in one post.
If you wanna save pics from the web you just open the picture go with the mouse on it and click the right mouse button. then you choose "safe as..." or in german "speichern als"... and you can save it on your computer. Some programs have a protection where you can't do that and take care of copyrights is you wanna use them.

That was, and still is, a good line. I still shoot film at least half the time and process and print my own as well (B&W and color). Getting harder all the time though. :(
