    Where is the best place in the Phils to see primary Jungle?
    I don't mean secondary scrub but propery primary that hasn't been cut down
    i hear Subic is good but anywhere closer to home?
    Its a sad fact that once this jungle is felled it never grows back to its natural glory

    You might try Ternate it is in Cavite , thus Luzon, helas..
    Mind you , even places with names like BICOL NATIONAL PARK and 12.000 hectares is.. yep , fully lumbered and the highes " tree " is 5 feet tall.

    Also , on Luzon BUT very nice indeed is Quezon National park . And the road to Los Banjos is pretty aswell.
    Picture is taken at Quezon National park . it is NOT from the net but my own...

    Hmmm. That area around Subic would have won my vote around 1970. I couldn't see two metres past my nose then...They say the Negritos owned it...and frankly..they could have it...LOL...

    Sorry I don,t no the Modern Times Subic . Only from the time I was younger then today...
    Quezon Park is in Quezon coming or going by car form Manila To Bicol and Visa Versa .
