Another great pictures Hokies. Wow, you're incredibly industrious and generous! That parrot is so huge just like a macaw. I feel like touching him, oh, no, I'd better not Macoy will bite me otherwise lol

Thanks! Hey, it's fun. Plus, I'm still jetlagged from the trip ( I arrived Sunday). So, I don't feel like doing much else.

Coco groves is a very nice resort indeed. It's managed very professionally, and it's hard not to notice. The girl in the photo on the left at the bar is very, very nice and attentive (I think she is some kind of a manager there), and I wanted to give her a tip at the end of the trip, but she just disappeared... If you would WCH, give her a large tip for me, I would very eternally grateful.

I mentioned earlier that the staff was friendly and efficient, and she was one of the members that stood out. We had the same experience with her, very attentive, and very personable. A very nice, young lady. My wife had a very friendly and long chat with her.

Unfortunately, I am back in the States now, so I will not be able help out. But, it's nice to hear others having the same experience about their wonderful staff over there.

When my family and I went to Siquijor about 4 years ago,we also stayed at the Coco Grove resort. The parrot was already there, so it must be a bit old in parrot years. We had a restful vacation and some good memories. However, we did not really get to enjoy the sea since there were a lot of sea urchins. Were there still sea urchins (black things with long thorns sticking out of their bodies?) during your stay in the resort?

Yes, saw alot of them. People were scavenging for them during low tide at the resort.

Hehe, would you be surprised to hear that those parrots will grow 50-60 years old when in captivity? ;-)

Some of my shoots from Coco Grove last november:
