Yes, I think Josephine did the right thing to post that sign. She is a very nice and reasonable person. I know her pretty well because she's my cousin. She asked me to post her resort, few months ago "Jo's by the Sea Resort and Restaurant". (whatever happened it's changed to 'chicken by the sea') , just like canned tuna named brand. lol :D

Cactusflower, I think what she meant is her resort/restaurant is just for dining - not a place for dating/meeting someone. You guys should have phoned her and ask why she posted that sign. I really don't know why she decided to do it. She knows exactly what she's doing. I have not even seen her resort since it was opened last May, as I live in the other side of the globe. I did her a favor of posting her resort in this board five months ago when she first opened. Have chatted with someone in this board that he and his girlfriend were having great lunch there. That's right, they were just having lunch and enjoyed talking to Jos.

    Lovely photos Rev,thanks.

Rhoody , that snap of the notice is hilarious ,cheers.lols

We often drop by Jo's by the sea on our way home when we were there, or after a cooling dip in the sea forest next door.We luv their chicken and the bigger space they have and their nice shakes ofcourse. I have tried few other dishes but seem lacking flavour but still ok ,perhaps only at that time but haven't ordered them again. The service is often fast ,but true it's nice to get to your table first rather than cue up to make your order .Or better if waiters can come to the table where you'll make the order.

We like Jo's , one of my favs in Dgte i would say ,but another thing which I am fuzzy about is the use of servings spoons when ordering other dishes.Twice we ordered and came with no serving spoons .So I requested serving spoons, but was given normal spoons. I asked again for a serving spoon, and was given forks .Just wonder if the waiters know how to distinguish a serving spoon from a normal spoon but it would help if they tell me earlier they don't have serving spoons ,only normal spoon ,I will take it .But just a thought, that normal spoon goes in the mouth and is used by many ,isn't pleasant when used as serving spoon on your dish and regardless how many times they were sterilised , but that's only me fuzzy pot. We would remain fond of Jo's Inato ...luv their chicken legs .But hope the management be aware of this serving spoon issue , as they aren't expensive in the hypermart .

It's ok to ' kinawboy' when dealing the grilled chicken on stick ,but hard to manage with your fingers any like pancit canton with has sauce in it.

I'm drooling looking at that pic of "inasal " w/ rice and calamansi, etc. You're teasing us, PK. Anyway, thanks for sharing your pic.
