Looking forward to a South Africa - England final myself. I'm still depressed over last weekend LOL....bad enough when Australia gave the game away in a pretty amateurish display - not really surprised though...but when the All Blacks caved in I almost jumped out the window... Anyway, here's to an English victory tonight....and the Springboks for the Cup..
Wish u could all be here in South Africa today - we will be watching the game from massive screens. It seems like the whole country is going to come to a stop later this afternoon - South Africa is wishing their rugby team the best of luch today !!!! Myra
Just curious, So where did you end up watching it? Happy Fred's? How was that ? And of course, a belated Congratulations!
Well, I remember going there, but ... I don't remember going back home! ... Yeah, was fine ... half a dozen or interested people watching. Could have done with more, but was better than watching in my hotel room!
I watched most of it....missed the first fifteen minutes...miscalculated the pre-game yap-yap...Good to see South Africa win it (as expected), but it wasn't the most exciting game I've seen...Very tactical. And the tactics worked! Would have loved to see an All Blacks/Springboks final. Probably next time!!
Congrats springboks, Just about edged it, to many penalties ref ruined the game, disallowed try bla bla bla.
World Rugby SA Wow so nice to read that someone actually postpone his trip - just to see the Final World Cup Rugby. In this case - i am so proud to be a South African. It was a very stressful game and we were all worried about our Boks. England did very well and almost made it. Myra
Thanks Myra, and I am also very proud to be an Englishman. Two world cup finals on the bounce, only wish our Football team could do that, be lucky if they make the European finals. Jim
