⌛ Google Earth

Is somebody knowing if there are plans for sending plane taken photos of DGTE and nearby areas to Google Earth? Would probably making something for the tourist industry there.

Visayas resolution is terrible, but I don't fully understand your question, are you suggesting submitting aerial photography for Google to add as an overlay to the Dumaguete area?
Did you know you can post your own pics on Google Earth using the Panorama feature?

 

Maybe someone could pat Google to enhance the resolution of Dumaguete, hehehe

 

Well. It is not just the resolution.The Cebu coverage(high res) is photos taken by planes.And they are sent by lokal governments. For example so was Bergen /Norway based on the the same terrible resolution on Google Earth before. The plane photos was sent to Google Earth in the spring 2006 and was implemented in the database in August 2006. Thats why you see a rectangular selection a lot of places.Indicated thet here is higher resolution plane taken pics.On Negros allready included Sipaway Island, Bacolod,Talisay and Silay.This is what I am asking about. If somebody know if lokal governments DGTE area have any plans for sending such photos to Google. Of course also to include tourists spots linked photos.
