I left in Dumaguete also on 1981 and I agree with you that only a few traces of Dumaguete I know still there when we were back last year. I saw few people I knew and few landmarks but I feel an outsider to the whole community. I know in my heart that we I'm still a dumaguetenue but thats all I have left.

SU BSEE grad 1979 din ako..... then I worked first with Marino Construction for almost 2-years before immigrating to Canada, it took me almost 14 years to go back to the Philippines as we sponsored first our Parents then all my Siblings.I already spent half of my life in Canada, so its safe to say that I'm half citizen and allegiance of both Countries.

 

hi gene - classmate diay ka sa akong younger brother SU BSME 79. My older bro is BSEE77.... did you go to Toronto this summer SU reunion? tipon tipon kuno.
I didn't go but my older brother did. One of my college barkada lives in Toronto now.
well good for you that your whole family is there now.
tug naw siguro dinha just like here in Boston... fall is here, got to rake the leaves but on a sunny day the fall foliage looks beautiful.

Hi Ritz;No i didn't attend the reunion this year as for some reason my name was included on the New York Alumni Chapter(too far) as their was no Vancouver Chapter yet.If you tell me your brother's name, I can look it up in our "1979 portal book" or I can have his email address.Thanks!

 

Hi ritz. Do you have brothers named Danny, Yelette and Allen? I live near your house and bakery years ago too. Its so nice to meet a former neighbor here in these forum. yes, so much has change in our place. Who is left, is The Ho family of Ho's art,free trading. Sila Perry,Harry and Jufrey. We live at the back of their house/shop. Do you recall?:D
