⌛ Kiteboarding

Any kiteboarding activities/groups in Dumaguete now? It would be nice to hook up with kiteboarders when on vacation there...any leads?

 

gracie, as far as i know dumaguete is not suitable for kiteboarding, maybe skimboarding we have

if you want kiteboarding then boracay is the best place, bulabog beach is full of them and also windsurfing,but i hope your good as the water is very bad and you wouldnt want to fall off to often.

 

thanks, maybe will try boracay...i like calm waters and just a little wave once in a while. I get scared of very big waves. Had a bad experience with waves before and haven't gotten over it yet even if it had nothing to do with kiteboarding.

hi gracie you will get on well here,its shallow water and calm,with an onshore wind,there are loads of kiteboarding schools here that will rent you stuff or just bring your own, iv just been to bulabog today and 20 plus kites flying,if you need any more info let me know

 

Great! that is nice... what school do you recommend. This calm waters wiht onshore wind you mentioned is this bulabog beach? which month is the best there...?

hi yes its bulabog beach,there are so many schools,but hangin is popular,i dont kite myself so best to make your choice when you are here,its good now until may,try looking on net for kite schools as im sure they have web sites

 

I'm not understanding this, are these people flying kites because they're board?

 

why not try for your self melvin if your board?
