I'll be back to Dumaguete nxt month. Looking to purchase 20-25 pieces of corrugated iron to replace roof on family home...anyone know where to get good price?
Hope some one does know, but I sense it may be the same across the board so to say. Many of the material retail sellers communicate on such matters of prices. I wanted to reply as I do know from top contractors (family associates) that materials are cheaper generally during the 1st 6 months of the year due to demand....Cheers!
Price will depend on the quality of materials you want to purchase, as there are many different types of sheets available
LKC GENERAL MERCHANDISE. They have two branches. One is across Robinson’s Mall just right beside the corner bakery. The other one is going Northside, National Highway before the airport. They’re fast, reliable and they never say they’re out of a certain item.
Hi, my experience a few years ago when having a roof panel replaced because of rust holes is this: I was told to get the "thick" panel. I went to JB Marketing on Locsin. I paid for a panel that was 0.5mm thick. This was the thickest that they sold there. As the store worker was pulling the panel off the rack, I saw a noticeably thicker panel. I could not use that one because it was too short. I asked what the thickness of it was. I was told it was also .5mm, but the reason it was thicker was that the one I paid for was from China. I asked where I could buy the thick panel in the length I needed and was told that UyMatio Hardware (not sure of the spelling) at the corner of Locsin and Perdices sells the thicker one. I got my P355 back and went to UyMatio. If I remember correctly they had 0.47mm, but it was noticeably thicker than the .5mm from JB Marketing. I bought it there for maybe P405. UyMatio also sells an even thicker panel maybe .62mm, but was out of stock in the length I needed. I had a somewhat similar experience with Chinese AngleIron for a water tower not being as thick as it was supposed to be, so it had to be doubled up.
I think the best place is just up the road fron tierra alta on right side. They will make or cut what you want and deliver it to you if need a whole new roof. Its called something like bn steel.
DN steel. The one near Tierra Alta is their warehouse though and likely will just do dispatches. Best bet to get your orders in would be their office near the bridge. The one right beside Gigi’s designer warehouse. Their office is called DN Philsouth. Landline 035 4226730
