The colors of these little guys are amazing. The clarity of the pictures are quite stunning. This has to be the best site for the photography of the Negros. Thanks for sharing and look forward to more in the future.

Thank you for that comment, as I have quite 1 or 2 dives here and also with good camera-pros, I am in the luck situation to have the time and opportunities to learn a lot. some of my previous posted pics are also donated. most shoot by myself. I will post some more. feel free to have a look on my german site, there are 2 or three different shots on each site, even you don't speak german I think you like some of them...
    cheers

No, they are taken by me and some of my divers, they are all in the Dauin area. most are taken at the ATL-Housereef, some in Masaplod Sur

    cheers

Earl, our Kid will find another link from the net to post it... He is a joke, talking about conservation and protection and is mentoning Bali and on Top of it Tulambem. If you wanna see any real destruction by divers, go to Tulambem, where uncontable Japanese standing on the corals for a groupfoto... He was reporting Gass post to the moderators of the board to remove it. I read it and I had to smile. If I have to remove that, I have to remove all threads with you and Melvin...
Maybe the other moderators are doing it, I will not remove Gass' post

    COMPARE INDONESIA and THE PHILIPPINES

Atr this very moent at the Phils are a lot of programs runnign to replant the coralsreefs and even breeding programs to reintroduce marinefishes ( the coral dwelling kinds) while in Indonesia the export of LIFE CORAL is expanding every day . SURE they are all CITES and need a export license.. but that can be BOUGHT and XEROX over and over again....VALI IS NOW THE WORLD BIGGEST FISHKILLER and CORAL IN THE WORLD BY.... FAR !!!!!!.

From Bali alone form ONE of many many companies some over 1.100 boxes each comtaining between 10 till 200 fishes and between 24 till 60 !!! CORALS are ship PER WEEK and there are some over 20 !!!!! Exxporting Companies there...
If you wish Rdoody , you can copy this reply and the one above into the TIO TEN TREAD as I have no time to rewrite again and again...!!!

    Great photos

those are wonderful photos Rhoody, thanks for posting them up. Out of curiousity, what sort of equipment do you have for taking the photos

I'm pretty new to diving and photowork and I've just purchased a housing unit for my Canon A620. I don't want to spend too much until I get comfortable with my bouyancy, but in the future........

    Thanks

    Hi TM87,
first thank you, and second I use a quite somple camera for pictures. With this macro-creatures it has a lot to do with your bouyancy(like you mentioned) and with the time. You can makr 200 shots per dive and 201 of them are crap. Make 20, take your time and wait untill the creatures are used to you. your camera is ok for god pictures in shallow water. everything below 5-7 meters use a external strobe.
If you come down here, I am happy to jump on a dive with you and spend 2 hours in the sand on 3-10 meters to show some awsome stuff and give you all the time of the world to make some great shots.

    cheers

    Rhoody
