⌛ Hello, I am New here to the site

Hello everyone, I am "Texas".
WOW! what a great site! I am SO glad that I found it! I have been taking notes on the info I have read on this site.
I am currently in Afghansitan but am do back in P.I. in about a week or so. My family is in Oriental Mindoro na, but we are planning to move to Dumaguete in mid to late December.
We are currently looking for a single family home for rent with at least three bedrooms on a private lot with neighbors that aren't too close. We like our privacy....
Anyone have any suggestions? I have a few Fillipino friends that said just to the South of Dumaguete there are some beach front properties that might fit our needs.

Here are some modest pointers if I may, on how to find your nice private lodging in DC: Drive around and you will see posted bills all around the city and suburbs of houses for rent. Driving around is easy--according to your preference: hire a van, a motorcab or "tuktok" Thailand style or hire a motorcycle from downtown.
I noticed there was one fore rent unit in the northern route, in Sibulan which is not too far awary from Dumaguete City [DC]. If lucky to grab one empty unit, there's a few in Bacong area or towards that area going southward.

There are plenty of rental units farther on southward but too far from the offerings of DC. If interested in residential lots that are located in semi-isolated areas, still with neighbors but who are most likely private also since they've chosen such sites; let me know. Maybe I can help a little.

Ya'll all have been such a big help....I feel at home already! Looking forward to meeting ya'll! I saw one gentleman that had obtained a house with a shared pool. He was on the beach and his house had a red rooftop. He said he paid under 200 US. Anyone know him? I think I read that he was South. My family and I would LOVE something like we he got...

Only my guess , this man you mentioned falls into the closest description of earlmj who got a beach house in south (Zamboangita) red rooftop, for $200 with shared swimming pool.That was nice,he had photos posted here earlier in the year. But he moved now to an even lovely house in Amlan. Other members can correct me ,incase there was another of similar description .
