⌛ Englands Soccer Knock out

England must be shocked and in tears. They got knocked out with a 2-3 home defeat against Croatia from the soccer Euro 2008. My condolences to all UK members on the board.
Also interesting to see that none of the "Island"- Teams qualified for the Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland. In England is a situation at present, like it was in France, Italy and Germany some 10 to 15 years ago. Collecting all International stars for the premier league and not taking care of the own talents anymore. The great wellknow english soccerplayer are old and close to retire and the money goes into Stars, not into the own youth.
At least they have a nice long summer vacation next June.

Hi Rhoody, you'r right about not taking care of the English players,
Premiership most foreign players.
The England coach has been sacked today, wasn't my choice at the start.
lost revenue cost 2 billion pounds for beer sales etc.
Its going to be a quite summer for us Brits. :(
