    A warm welcome The Teach, Al. We are in Newcastle and hubby is a banker/ financial consultant- Lloyds Tsb. Been to Dumaguete this year and plan to retire soon. Already sealed a place in Sibulan.

    Hi John Boy,

    Yes, in fact my wife is from Cebu. First couple of times I was over in the Phils. we travelled quite a lot and we both REALLY fell in love with Dumaguete.

    When we went there in September we asked around and quite a few people said that Valencia was really nice.

    So, we eventually found the house that we now rent. We are both very happy in Valencia.

    Since you're a teacher by profession, you may want to look into teaching at Silliman University. Since you have the experience, I'm sure they'd be happy to welcome you. Just a thought:smile:
