⌛ what's this travel guide stuff?

This very comprehensive information diseminating "new" member seems to have taken over the forum, even placing somehow one of his posts at the beginning of an old thread. So isthe Dane doing this? Somehow even though the info is very usful to guests looking at the forum to glean local tourist info, I find it not in keeping with the conversational tone of this forum. I think the Lonely Planet tone really detracts. sorry, my honest opinion.

Some of this stuff belongs in a paid advert column.

Glad at least some of you like my articles...

I have no current plans to report on Smokey Mountain or Angeles City... But who knows maybe in the future.

I think these articles are valuable for both locals and tourists in Dumaguete, and when I report old / wrong information I am happy to see other members jump in to correct me, this is how we build up nice and current information about the Philippines

I have been posting these articles almost since day one, I took a break with them for a while, but I am now ready with a new batch of posts

If this is going to be a travel guide website then I do not want to participate any more. Up to now I have enjoyed reading what guys & gals have had to say on a variety of subjects, but if I want travel information (which I don't) I will go to a travel agents.
