⌛ Good Dentist ?

Hello Website of "Gentle People",
I'm the new kid on the block (not so much a kid now though). I read some postings by Dane who was not very happy with the Dentist in Dumaguete (Who ? would like to know the name-'s of who to avoid !!)...I used to visit a Dentist in Manila;the lady took her time and additionally had such a good technique that she did not have to use any anaesthetic to prevent me rising off the chair ! Can anyone please recommend a good one in the city together with contact details who doesn't charge foreigners an arm and a tooth ? Thanks.

Good Dentist

Haven't heard there are any here that are that good. I tried one in Cebu that is well worth the trip there just to see her. Her name is Grace Lao and is trained and schooled in the states. She goes to the USA annually for implant seminars. I would highly reccommend her. I just has a porcelain cap put in for 5,000 and her other fees are very reasonable. She is TOTALLY painless. Can't say enough good things to say about her. Located on the 5th floor of Perpectual Succor hospital extension building and near Eddies hotel. #032-2321176. In the same building there is also a another US trained dentist (can't recall the name) specializing in Periodontist so those needing Gum work should check her out. located on 6th floor.

Curious to know your background of travelling.
I did not have to go to any dentist here yet, but I'm certainly interested to know the results of the treatment by the dentist you have selected at the end of your search (if from Dumaguete and different from the one already advised by Roverman).
It's good to use this forum to exchange experiences of whatever item (excluded politics and some others).

I'm with Roverman. My wife and I have used Dr.Chua for more than 10 years. Good service and a fair price.

I'll be certain to post my experience...Sorry, but it won't be until after our visit to PI in Feb next year..(Avoiding Manila or I would visit my old Dentist there).
