    No worries mate :D You can't beat young mangoes with bagoong or uyap as it's called in Dgte. The caribbean variety is not the same at all and very fibrous. Love the mango shakes - I usually overdo it (it's so tasty that seconds and sometimes thirds are usually in order) until I get the runs :D

    We have a variety of mango here called Kao Savoy, only tried it this season, eaten green and tastes a little like apple, really good.

    I also like Nam Doc Mi, very sweet.

    Our major mango exports to the southern states are R2E2 and "KP" or Bowen.
    We have a fairly new variety that the growers are marketing called Calypso.

    I miss the fresh Bagoong in PI cause here the imported stuff is terrible :D
