I am also interested. Do you have a contact-number for the mountaineering club?

We are planning to trek to Talinis good weather permit this coming visit, but hopefully going back the same day, would this be possible and without staying overnight out there on top .This is mainly because of our youngest child who will be left behind , she might feel unsettled of us out of sight for longer period .Also we are keen to see what's behind Talinis, has anybody been there. There's another mountain peak called Mt Talipasi, (if i am not wrong with the name), is this possible to trek and worth visiting?

You can check with the City tourism office which is a oart of the City Hall Building. They have guided tours...i am not sure though if it includes Mt. Talinis but it may be worth a try.
