In 1993, when the Clintons tried to do something about this mess, the conservatives came out with the commercials showing a couple reading the paper together and worrying about big government getting in their medicine cabinet. They scared people into allowing them to kill it and perpetuate the mess. I think they'll do it again. They're very good at it.

This is an interesting twist in my opinion since most of the media pushes democratic values yet they allowed this to be beaten using their channels.

Simply doesn't make sense. does it?

I don't swallow that liberal media bit. Look who owns the few media outlets now. Anyway, look how they promoted the Iraq war and never asked any tough questions, never checked to see if the claims were well-founded.

Um, well, the reality of the US housing market is that while the homes are not cheap, they are selling cheaply because the market is extremely bad right now. That could change any minute of course, but people are finding that they have to sell their homes undervalued. Some refuse to sell at all due to this. As for the gun comment....BANG. LOL. Just kidding. Not all Americans own guns...Not all of us want to. As for the greatest prez America ever had...GWB....He's the coolest. Not everything is his fault ya know. :D Hugz to ya!

Actually, much of the media IS liberally biased. Most of the stuff that Americans get to see in the national news programs about the war in Iraq is posed stuff. I mean, think about it...bullets flying everywhere, people running and screaming, and hiding inside buildings and there's the camera person just standing there recording in the midst of all the violence? Nope. Fake. If it were real, the camera dude would be the first to run and hide.

Sometimes i think....they continue to go to war to be in the media....if they would be left alone to fight, without media coverage they probably wouldn't be that enthusiastic.

    Victory & Peace Sign

People keep saying "Victory" because it is most commonly associated with Winston Churchill and his first displaying the hand gesture to symbolize "Victory" in WWII. It was not until the '60s' that this hand gesture was associated with "Peace".
