    Hi there.

I am beginning to plan a trip to Dumaguete myself. I plan to be married there. Hope you are enjoying your visit.

I spent 10 fabulous days in your lovely city of the gentle people and plan returning there beginning of Feb for another 2 months or so.
Special thanks to Ronondo Rico who was very helpful and explained to me all the secrets of Dumaguete life, his hamburgers and entertainment were great.
At the moment I am touring Luzon, where I have many friends, but I guess I will chose Dumaguete as my 'perfect' retirement place after all.
Hope meeting the rest of the crowd during my next visit.

Glad to hear you had fabulous days in Dumaguete (my hometown) while on a visit and that you'll chose the city of gentle people as your retirement place. That sounds great! Tommytnf, do you mind if I ask you where you are from originally? I see you're from Canary Island, my husband and I had a filipino/spanish friend (deceased now) who was married to a spanish lady from Canary Island several years ago. We met him in Estepona, in costa del sol. Will be coming back to Dumaguete for good in the next few years. God willing. Right now, we're based in california.

Actually i don't know what to call home: I was born in Argentina, grew up and studied in Austria, lived and worked in Israel, Italy (where I got married), East Africa (where my 2 daughters were born), Hong Kong, England (where I got divorced), East Africa again, and now I am half retired in Tenerife, Canary Islands, planning to completely retire in the Philippines (Dumaguete?) during 2008. It may sound I am 120 years old, but I am not yet
