⌛ Manila - where to stay

When we visit Dumaguete this year we are coming via Manila instead of our usual route through Cebu. We haven't been to Manila for more than 20 years so I was hoping the forum members could recommend some family accommodation for two adults and two adult-sized kids for a few days. We would prefer somewhere close to one of the huge shopping malls we have heard about.

The trend here in aussie is towards short-stay apartments rather than the traditional hotel room. Much better for a family group.

Since you say that the only diving you know about is 'muff diving', then why not let the wife and kids stay in Manila, and you go to the Blue Nile Exec Hotel in Angeles?

Thanks for the advice mate. I spent some quality time there in the early 80's before they chucked the yanks out. I hear it's a really grubby joint now.
