    Yes, you've found a nice DC home--this forum. WELCOME BRAD AND
    ASIANPRINCESS.

    Hey Brad, I agree with Rhoody and this is also my 20- year experience [as I was based in Seoul this long] to take the flight from Manila and then connect to DC. If you're taking PAL, it will arrive at close to midnight. Then if you have the patience to sit it out at the terminal, you can take the early morning flight of Air Philippines to DC. Since the planes park at same terminal, no sweat. Just time.

    If you prefer Cebu Pacific, you can take it straight to Cebu and then take the night boat [maybe Cokaliong at 7 P.M. from Pier 1] to DC. You get to DC at around 3/4 A.M. the next day. The Tourist Cabin is ok with around 30/40 people in an AC area, close to the canteen; and for more privacy, you can shelf yourself in the 8-10-people cabin.

    I had a post-grad Korean student last semester here in DC, she's supervising her niece who's studying at Silliman U and so you've got friends right away!!!! And of course this forum.

    I've have not been to Dobdob since '92. My parents are originally from Badian, Cebu. The whole family moved back to Badian in '89.

    Yes, I would love to come visit Negros Oriental planning on doing so, hopefully this next year or two with my hubby, he has not been to the Island..... would be fun... looking forward to that. I have an Uncle and Aunt living in Malanglangsi, Pamplona planning on giving them a surprise visit :smile:
