    A similar article made the newspapers down here. Interesting....I do like the variety of sea life in the area....it is fantastic...but I wonder where all the sharks went.....I've seen a lot more everywhere else....saw a few around Panglao about twenty years ago...hardly any since except the rare, and small, white-tip.....something is way out of kilter in the Philippines.....it aint natural...

    I don't know the present state of fish diversity in Dumaguete but the famous icthyologist Herre commented that Dumaguete was his favorite collection area for fish because of its high diversity.
