How reliable is it I have some impoiratnt documentation to receive what ois the best way to do this? DHL? will it reach obscure addreses is Daro or is it best to deliver somewhere else like post office etc?
Yabs, Personally speaking I've only had one letter that didn't make it to my GF in almost 3 years. But 1 letter is too much! I've delivered money and extremely important documents to the Philippines by Federal Express and it's always made it in time and in tact. If your sending important Docs then I suggest Fed Ex...all the way. good luck, southerndon
Yabs, I can't speak for Daro since I don't know where it is in relation to Dumaguete. I do know that FedEx is extremely reliable and has been the courier of choice for many of my friends wishing to deliver important documents even money. Contact FedEx and give them the address then ask them directly whatever concerns you. If you're sending document...and those documents can be replaced...then don't put a high value on them...actually don't put any value on them this will save you money. Good luck, Southerndon
Yabs, FedEx was for me very reliable too, If you are not around in Dumaguete cause of your work, send it to a friend, you could even send the documents to me and as soon you arrive give me a call, would be no problem. cheers Rhoody
Fedx and DHL will both hold packages at their respective offices in Dumaguete. just put hold for pick up with phone number on bill of lading. In addition EMS or express mail through the post office is very reiable, trackable, and a lot less expensive. I send and recieve valuble stuff that way internationally without incident. It is a global system and subscribed to by various member countries.
I think that is what was mentioned. but not to be left for weeks, the purpose just so you don't have to depend on a couriour to find your house here. they will call when delivered. I do the same with EMS.
