    How come there are no jeeps and taxicabs in Dumaguete, if u don't own a car how do u get around, walk?

    walk. most of the places are quite near each other anyway.

    but there are motorcycles for hire. or you could ride a tricycle. fare would be more or less equal to jeep. there are a few taxis btw but they are usually on-call.

    jeepneys, tricycles, easyrides, are all available depending on your destination.
    there are 2500 + tricycles registered in Dumaguete. At rush hour, it looks like they are all on Perdices street :D
