What happens if you continuously break the traffic laws in the PH?
For example I sort of know the fines and what not from the gov website, but
It doesnt show any penalties besides the fine.

Do people get pulled over often there? So lets say you decide to drive without a PH license and continuously get cited for it, could you possibly get deported or go to jail? Also do you have to go to court whenever you get cited like in the US, or can you just send them the payment? Thanks.

for expats, i wouldn't recommend that you break any laws. there's too much for you to loose. you're a walking ATM to the corrupt enforcers.

Spectre is spot on. Reminds me of that song, 'a breakin' rocks in the hot sun, i fought the law and the law won, i fought the law and the law won!' Do the crime, then, you pay the time!

I second the comment of the two previous posters on this thread. Expat visitors are guests in the Philippines. There is no "right" to the renewal of a visa, regardless of its type. It would NOT be the sort of surprise I would like to receive at immigration come renewal time.

"Surprise!" You are no longer welcome has the air of finality which I would dot wish to hear.
