Jenny....may i recommend that you review the "Tourist Information" forum here at www.dumagueteinfo.com ? i think you may find what you're looking forward or at least be a good start.

    Jhenny,

Ronin is right and have a look at the Hotel/Resort list.

Cheap is realative and lays in the eye of the beholder. How many days you wanna stay, what are your requirements, Aircon, Cable-TV, pool, Spa diveshop, philippino resort, international resort...and,and,and.
What is your budget? Just give us some more info and we can help you a bit better.

    cheers

    Rhoody

I think the guy is looking for advice, not a list, albiet subjective as it might be. My experience:
Several moderately price resortscometo mind. Sta. Monica is one, nicely landscaped, not much beach but pool good food. was last I was there as low as 800 Pesos for single room. but that may be higher now! Babayon, in sibulon, nice pool ,not so many ammenities as Sta Monica, but livable. good pool. 800 plus per room. For that pricetwo yearsago, I got a great double room cr, native style.

for 800 I would stay in Sea Forrest, great surrounding and huge cottages, good food, hot shower, nice pools including small jacuzzi... 10 peso jeepney ride to DUMA.

    Thanks for the answer.

My friend is staying here for 5 days together with the 2 kids and 2 yaya. They want to have little kitchen where my filipina friend can cook. His husband wants to taste the fresh fish and vegetable here in Dumaguete. They are from Cebu. As you know Cebu has not much of fresh fish and price is expensive here. I hope to find a place near in my place because this is there 1st time to come here. I live in Lower Bagacay infront of Hypermart. I am not familiar here in DUMA because we are new here also.

    Thank you again

    Jenny

Jhenny, if the distance of 24 km from Dumaguete is no problem then I can offer you a bungalow with 2 bedrooms, each having shower and toilet and a living room with kitchen.
The bungalow is big and has a bright view to Apo Island (just oposite !). PM me fore further details.
