Police are investigating the shooting of an elderly American and his Filipino wife inside their home in Purok Katubhan, Barangay Bajumpandan, Dumaguete City early Wednesday. Probers are looking into robbery as a possible motive. Very sad to hear this, just as I was reading about Dumaguete the city of gentle people. It was an article about six places to retire in Philippines.There is no real safe place any more in this world, were violence has become a daily normality, may they rest in peace.
