⌛ Please allow me to introduce myself

This is my first post and I am a new member. My name is Dan Soper and my name here is Paxtor. I did things a little backwards. I read about Dumaguete from this forum and it sounded like a good place and decided to come out from California see what it is all about. Don't think I would ever had even known about Dumaguete if it wasn't for the forum. I went to the March 15th meeting at the Well Beach Resort yesterday, and wanted to thank everyone there for their hospitality. It was a great group of people there and thanks for making me feel welcome. I was impressed by the diversity of the members and that made it even more interesting. Food was good too. Hope to keep in touch and thanks again for a great time.

okay ..what is DI ? I see it a lot ...I am a newbie from Arizona coming to Dmgte in April . Love to meet soem of you on the forum . This is an incredibel site ! thanks to the people / person behind all this . let's keep it clean .

It's great to know that you enjoyed your first huddle with a group of nice guys and gals in the friendliest place in the country. And where else would you be treated well by a group of expats or complete strangers but in Dumaguete. Welcome to the Philippines!

Welcome to DI azmaria. Well i see that tfa1957, has already explained what DI stands for...are u originally from dgte? or just a visiting tourist on april? I hope you'll enjoy your stay.

 

Paxtor, it was nice to have met you at the DI meeting at Well Beach.
Would be even better if a next time more members show up.
I do like these get-togethers ("meeting" is such a strange word to me for these informal social activities) and do appreciate Rhoody's efforts to have them on a regular basis so more people can visit them once they are here for their short vacation.

thanks for the FYI on what DI means . now I knowm the lingo .
I am living in the US currently 35 yrs , Az to be specific , I am from Cebu and Dumaguete is my father's hometown . Perdices family . It has been 15 yrs since my last visit . I will be there partly on family visit and buisness . I help establish home based businesses marketing nutritional products that change people's lives . Who do you know I can help ? My husband is a cancer survivor . Once his body was fed balanced nutrition his body started to function the way it was meant to be .
