So if you are already here before another wants to start something you have the moral right to prevent that ? :D
Then I think I'm gonna stop all those new Karaoke bars telling them that they have to leave MY area.  :D
I was first !! I came here for my rest.
How dare they starting noisy "entertainment". Go to Manila with your noisy stuff :D
    Right Yabs ?

if that's really your priority in life the mall, why you live in dumaguete? There are many big cities in Philippines where there are alraedy big malls.

If I'm the foreighner ( who have the money) i prepare to live in Dumaguete as it is before, a small city with no chaos of traffic ( its even bad now although no robinson yet)and peaceful small city .Then once a week or every 2 weeks travel to cebu for shopping in this big malls( if you really like to go on shopping in the big malls).

Who like to be in the malls everyday. My God! maybe the teens like to hang out the whole day in the mall.....

If you've seen one shopping centre, you've seen a mall!

Then you have to spend a lot to travel to Cebu and Bacolod and get all the items that you want. Besides, a well-designed mall could attract more tourists and people to come to your place. You would employ more people and get the choice materials that you want for whatever project you would conceive. You would have more clients for your business. And people would have more money.

Which is better, to have more business or to have no business at all?

Well, they said we should never compromise the environment. I guess these establishments have secured their environmental compliance certificates as a proof that they have not violated any law detrimental to the environment.

    LET'S HAVE THE MALL NOW!!!

But the shopping centres that we have are they well-designed? Are they nice enough as a hangout place and even spend the whole day in that area? Do they have nice theaters and entertainment centers?

Three months ago, the big bosses of RLC came to Dumaguete to finalize something about their mall. As they said to the city officials, they will officially open the mall by June of next year. This was said by a city councilor in last night's talk show at Fil Products... Actually, it was I who asked him through their text line questions.......

congrat, so we can nail you if it's wrong... hehe... I wonder if they open in June 2009 why interested parties in opening a shop there get the answer: not before 2010. Now you are confusing me.
Or maybe they are already all occupied and they think in 2010 are the first ones closed again.
This are statements to calm the public down and nothing more. It is simple maths. There is nothing going on there and the construction will last a minimum of 18 month...

I was talking to a friend of mine from Europe with some business in Asia, he made a good point: The time difference between Europe and the PI is 8 hours and 40 years....
So we take that as a given. That means Robinson will open in June 1969... d*mn, that is 1 year and 3 month before I was born, I gonna miss the grand-opening...
