    Why not take the Ceres bus with the Dumaguete sign in the window from S Terminal in Cebu; the one that drives right onto the barge/car ferry to cross over to Dgte? That way you don't have to touch your luggage until you get into Dgte, and won't have to be switching to fast craft etc.

    Usa ka sakay! (one ride)

    They want you to get off the bus and sit in the passenger section of the barge/car ferry until it reaches the other side. Be sure and leave something on your seat denoting it as "taken" or other riders who've been waiting in Bato or where ever to cross over might take your seats..

    I think the El Dorado shuttle picks you up at Why Not bar, no? Just tell the bus driver to let you of at Why Not in town-it goes right by it.

    Thanks for that info, very helpful.

    We will decide closer to the time which method to use, will probably try both the bus and the ferry, just for the experience

    I actually

    arrive in Dumaguete around midday on the 26th. Got a busy schedule planned. Hopefully the g/f can get her OW course reduced to maybe 2 days which will give us some extra days to laze around and do some sightseeing. And then hopefully visit Apo Island and of course Dolphin watching.

    We're both looking forward to it

    Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
    Only 4 days till I leave home and 7 days till we both arrive in Dumaguete. We are both very excited to be coming and hope the weather is good for us.
